At Safeguards Consulting, we are deeply committed to fostering a work culture rooted in generosity and community spirit.
This December, our team embraced the “Consulting Cheer” initiative, inspiring each member to seek meaningful ways to give back throughout the season. Throughout the month, we shared stories highlighting these acts of kindness, hoping to motivate others to join us in making a positive impact.
This collection brings together those heartfelt stories, serving as a humble reminder that by extending compassion and generosity, we can continue to uplift one another, not just during the holidays, but every day of the year.

This year, one of our dedicated team members chose to give back by supporting Final Victory Animal Rescue. Through our Phase One friends’ drop-off station, she generously donated treats, toys, and inflatable pet surgery cones to assist this remarkable organization in their important work.
Founded in May 2017 and based in West Columbia, South Carolina, Final Victory Animal Rescue is a nonprofit committed to meeting the urgent needs of the animal rescue community. Their focus is on saving dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters where they face the threat of euthanasia.
With compassion and care, they provide a safe and nurturing environment for these animals, many of whom have endured trauma from neglect, shelter stays, or life on the streets, until they find the loving forever homes they deserve.

This December, our team also had a team member who monetarily supported Protect Life Michigan, which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering pro-life student groups across high schools and colleges throughout the state. Through their unwavering support, they help students establish and lead clubs, organize meaningful activities, and engage in impactful outreach efforts.
We deeply appreciate the important work they do to inspire and nurture the next generation of leaders.

Samaritan's Purse’s Operation Christmas Child
As part of our Consulting Cheer incentive, one of our team members thoughtfully chose to give back through Samaritan's Purse’s Operation Christmas Child, a cause they have passionately supported in the past. We are honored to stand alongside them, as our firm proudly supports Samaritan’s Purse through our ongoing Giving Back initiative while remaining committed to making a meaningful difference together.
In early December, she, alongside members of her home church and family, came together at the Processing Center in Charlotte, NC, united by a shared mission. Upon arrival, they were thoughtfully organized into teams to ensure a smooth workflow. Her team took on the vital role of evenly distributing containers along the conveyor belt, guaranteeing that each packing station was well-stocked and ready for processing. Meanwhile, the other team worked diligently at the packing stations, carefully verifying the contents of every box before sealing them for shipment.
This year, their collective efforts brought joy to children in Panama and Honduras. Over the course of a focused four-hour shift, they packed an inspiring total of more than 47,000 boxes, with each one as a testament to their dedication, teamwork, and the spirit of giving.

Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Our team is honored to additionally highlight Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a cherished charity embraced by one of our dedicated team members.
Her commitment to this cause dates back to her college years, where she began a heartfelt tradition of writing Christmas cards to the children at Saint Jude. Inspired by her athletic teams’ encouragement for student-athletes to send messages of hope, she has continued this meaningful practice over the years.
One memorable December, her college organized a visit to the local Saint Jude hospital, offering students the opportunity to bring holiday cheer in person while gaining a profound appreciation for the incredible work being done to support these brave children and their families.
It is with great humility and admiration that we recognize this ongoing dedication to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots
Another one of our team members and their family chose to donate toys to support the U.S. Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program.
This inspiring initiative, supported by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, collects new, unwrapped toys each holiday season to bring joy and hope to children facing hardship. By ensuring that less fortunate children receive gifts at Christmas, Toys for Tots brightens countless lives and fosters a spirit of community and compassion.
Since its founding in 1947, this remarkable program has touched the hearts of millions, distributing over 708 million toys to more than 314 million children.
We are proud to highlight and support such a meaningful cause that truly embodies the spirit of giving through our team members’ supportive efforts.
